This policy explains what personal information Visionera collects when you browse our website, place an order or visit our store, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Order details you give us: your name, phone or WhatsApp number, delivery address, the products you choose and any notes.
Health information you choose to share: your eyeglass or contact-lens prescription (SPH, CYL, AXIS, ADD, PD) or a photo of your prescription slip. We treat this as sensitive information and use it only to make your lenses.
Technical information: our website is a static site. It does not use advertising trackers. Your cart, language and light/dark preference are stored only in your own browser (local storage) and are not sent to us.
How we use your information
To confirm, prepare and deliver your order, including cutting and fitting prescription lenses.
To contact you about your order, delivery, exchanges or warranty claims.
To keep records required by law, such as invoices.
We do not sell your personal information, and we never use your prescription for marketing.
WhatsApp and third parties
Orders are confirmed through WhatsApp, which is operated by Meta and subject to its own privacy policy. Only send us information you are comfortable sharing over WhatsApp.
We share your name, phone number and address with our courier partners only to deliver your parcel, and your prescription with our lens laboratory only to make your lenses.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for up to 5 years for accounting and warranty purposes. We keep prescriptions for 2 years so we can help with re-orders and adjustments, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
Your rights

Security
Prescription records are kept on access-controlled devices used only by our opticians. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information, in line with the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act, 2016.
Children
Orders for children's glasses must be placed by a parent or guardian, who provides the child's prescription on their behalf.
